Dementia is associated with older people, who are, generally speaking, less able to look after themselves. Hence the importance of providing care cannot be underestimated as there is a new Dementia person reported every 3.2 seconds in the world. The estimated cost of Dementia is set to increase to US $ 1 Trillion by 2018.What is alarming is that 40% of the costs relate to unpaid care provided by family and others, while another 40% of the cost relate to community and residential care.
